I am a cosmetologist, I have owned my own salon for 13 years and have quilted for the past 30 years, I have 1 daughter and 1 granddaughter. My clients are often very interested in my quilting projects, I often take my quilts to the salon to do handwork, or sometimes to just show them to stylists and clients. I live in a mountain community where where there are no shops to purchase supplies, so I often use designing a new quilt as an excuse to go to town. I also sew clothing and other items for my family. I do enjoy the creativity behind the fabric.
